KFC approached us with a problem that the majority of the world was dealing with during the pandemic: how to continue with the business in the time of a pandemic. They asked us to create a TV spot showing how something as simple as a good meal could bring people together, even when they were physically apart.
KFC wanted to highlight the fact that their food could be delivered safely and hygienically, even with social distancing measures in place. The biggest challenge, however, was that we were given only 2 weeks from start to finish. We kicked it into high gear and came up with a solution.
Working quickly, we built a story around a delivery in progress, and that through the power of The Internet, people could come together via video call and enjoy a meal together, even in these tough times.
The commercial was shown across the Netherlands on various TV channels, as well as cut-down versions being posted on KFC's social media channels.
